Nebraska German Students' Convention

Nebraska Association of Students of German Convention (NASG)

This year's convention will be virtual.  Entries can be sent in April 12-24.  A link to submit entries will be available starting April 12.   Please read the information below in the teacher and student info sections.

The Nebraska German Students’ Convention was held on April 7, 2019.  It was hosted by Lincoln Southeast and held at Schoo Middle  School in Lincoln with about 200 students in attendance. The day consisted of competitions and seminars showcasing German.
Your students can win awards in a variety of competitions, including skits, music videos, spelling, trivia contests, poetry, cakes, directed dialog, art, poster, etc. Thanks to Kelleen Browning and her Lincoln colleagues for helping make the day a success. A complete description of each competition is attached below. The non-competitive activities will include food demonstrations, games, crafts, photo booth, and activities . The convention is a great way for your students to use their language outside of the classroom and to meet students from other schools!
